Declassified new pickup Ford Ranger Wildtrak 2013

Ford has introduced the Ranger pickup the next generation in the modification Wildtrack. The world premiere will take place on the car at the Motor Show in Geneva, opens to the press on Tuesday, March 1.

From the standard car's new features a new front bumper, extra plastic plates in the cargo compartment, roof rails, 18-inch wheels and special interior trim.

As previously reported, the wheelbase of the new Ford Ranger in comparison to its predecessor, has increased by 220 millimeters (up to 3,220 millimeters), and front and rear wheels has increased to 1560 mm for the all-wheel drive versions, and to 1590 mm for the machine to drive only the rear wheels. Ground clearance vehicle is 230 millimeters, depth Crossing ford - 800 mm, maximum trailer weight - 3350 pounds, and capacity - 1333 pounds.

The length of the cargo bay Ranger reaches 1,549 millimeters, the depth - 511 mm, width - 1560 mm, and its capacity is 1.21 cubic meters.

Pickup will be offered with two diesel engines: 2.2-liter "Quartet" of 150 hp (375 Nm) and 200 hp (470 Nm) of five-cylinder unit volume of 3.5 liters. The motors can be paired with a manual gearbox or six-speed "automatic".
