Honda Fit recall 14,640 vehicles from model years 2009 and 2010 in Canada to replace springs up play, the components of the valve control motor. Springs up play, which are compressed by the rockers in the normal operation of the engine can bend or break over time, causing an abnormal noise in the motor and could damage or stalling. No accidents or injuries or crashes have been reported for this problem in Canada.
Honda announces recall to invite all owners of affected vehicles to go from an authorized dealer as soon as they receive a recall notice from Honda in the mail. Customers will begin receiving notices in early March 2011.
When Honda finds problems of this nature, nothing is more important for society to fulfill its obligations and meet its responsibility to notify its customers
