Mercedes Concept Ocean Drive - 4door convertible based on the S-Class

If you’re one of those lads who have the kinky habit of reading us, then you should have already guessed that our verdict on the Mercedes Concept Ocean Drive can be condensed in these three words: drop-dead ugly.

But all is not lost! See, the Lexington Square, sorry I mean the Ocean Drive Concept is as Mercedes says, a one-off creation, that’ll be on their stand at the Detroit Show in January. What is that I hear? You still want to know more about the Ocean Drive?

Ok, ok but I refuse to put up Mercedes’s 700 word press release that mostly tries to convince us how elegant and luxurious its concept is. Actually, the only interesting part in it is that the Ocean Drive is based on the on the twelve-cylinder Mercedes-Benz S 600 and that technical highlights include an innovative soft-top mechanism and the AIRSCARF neck-level heating system, which is featured on all four seats.
