More than 50 electric vehicles, hybrids and alternative fuel at the Salon LA 2010

Always leaning on the economic and environmental issues, manufacturers are moving increasingly towards low-emission vehicles and autonomy. More than 50 electric vehicles to hydrogen fuel cell, hybrid, clean diesel and natural gas will be featured at the Auto Show Los Angeles 2010, each providing clean transportation solutions viable.

The Fair also highlights the historic opening of the era of the electric car today. After years of waiting, consumers can finally drive electric vehicles to larger production. The highly anticipated first two models that will start the party are the vehicle range electric Chevrolet Volt, and electric vehicle battery Nissan LEAF. A dozen other EV will also be presented. More than half of the presentations will be production vehicles sold in 2011, while others are pioneering concepts that will determine the progress of electric transportation in the future.

With new prototypes and production vehicles green offered by at least 20 manufacturers, consumers have a wider choice of vehicles with low emissions and autonomy than ever. Hybrids still account for most ecological vehicles, including the popular Toyota Prius, Honda Civic Hybrid and Ford Fusion Hybrid and Kia plans to unveil its first hybrid sedan Optima.
