As part of the festivities marking the brand's 100th anniversary, the Italian Alfa Romeo Register (RIAR) is organizing an international rally for all Alfa Romeo enthusiasts worldwide. The event, officially supported by Alfa Romeo, will take place on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June in Milan, the city where the brand was founded on 24 June 1910.
Alfa Romeo said that the enrolled crews (the objective is to gather more than 3000 names) will parade their cars through the streets of the center of Milan on the afternoon of 26 June.
The following day, on the morning of Sunday 27 June, all crews will take part in a record-breaking display forming a long line of Alfa Romeos, all bearing the characteristic "Biscione" emblem on the roof.
A statue donated by RIAR and by many enthusiasts worldwide will be presented during a special ceremony. The statues that is said to have been inspired by the iconic Alfa Romeo 1900 Disco Volante, was designed by Centro Stile Alfa Romeo with the collaboration of artist Agostino Bonalumi. An
