2011 Subaru WRX STI sedan has wing and live pics 2010 New York
Subaru company on the Motor Show in New York presented the sedan Impreza WRX STI, as well as the updated hatchback STI.
New items were upgraded body kit with new front bumper, which redefined the side air intakes and fog lamps section. Also, the sedan Impreza WRX STI has a new grille, unique to the sedan's large rear wing and different rear bumper with the original aerodynamic elements.
For the sedan and hatchback Subaru Impreza WRX STI has been further developed suspension: there are new aluminum lower lever in the front, another Silent-block rear suspension, adjust the shock absorbers and springs, as well as one millimeter of increased thickness of the front and rear stabilizer bar (up to 21 and 19 millimeters, respectively). Also for cars will be offered the lighter 18-inch BBS rims made of aluminum alloy, the total weight of nearly eight pounds less than the previous titles STI.
Updated vehicles will still be equipped with a 305-horsepower turbocharged boxer six-speed manual gearbox.
Sedan Subaru Impreza WRX STI and upgraded hatchback will be available in the U.S. by the end of this summer.
